Production Manager
Amelia is an award winning theater practitioner who has been wearing many “hats” all over Austin since 2008. She is an actor, visual artist, yoga teacher, and movement artist. She is a company member of Vortex Rep, En Route Productions, Circus Picnic, and The Hidden Room Theater. She worked as Production Manager for En Route Productions off and on since 2015. She is thrilled to be working as the Production Manager for Shakti Moves as the company continues to grow and evolve. She is deeply enamored with the mission of Shakti and is honored to be a part of such an inspiring dance company. Amelia is grateful to Erica Santiago for supporting and encouraging her as an artist.
Chris P
Community Outreach & Social Media
Chris is a holistic wellness resource advocate and community facilitator. He's spent the last few years in advocacy and outreach with Out Youth an LGBT center as well co-hosting group therapy and with the SAFE Alliance helping to create a safe trauma-informed space for youth from challenging life circumstances. He also ran social media and outreach for Austin Community College's Honors Program. He is currently studying to become a board certified dance therapist with a particular interest in how somatic processing helps people release trauma stored in their bodies and access freedom of spirit and mind.
